Wow, what a beautiful day. It must have hit 60 degrees today. Spring must have finally hit the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Now the bad news. A few days ago I talked about Panama hats and mentioned the men’s Panama hat by Sunday Afternoons. I just found out today that they have discontinued the hat because of a huge price increase from their supplier. They have assured me they are looking for a new supplier but we all know that we probably won’t see any hats for this season from them. Don’t worry, we’ll have plenty of other Panama hats for you this year.

A couple days ago I talked about hats with UV protection from the Sunday Afternoons company. Today I wanted to highlight the two children’s sun hats that Sunday Afternoons offer. First is the Kids Play Hat:

I have just put a bunch of fedoras on sale in our Special Deals category. Some of these are fur felt fedoras and some are straw fedoras from brands like Stetson, Dobbs, Bailey and Akubra. This have been drastically reduced in price because either we or the manufacturer has discontinued them and we need to make room for the new styles that will replace them. Don’t wait to buy your new fedora if you see the style and size you need because many of these only have one or two available and once they’re sold they’re gone for good.

Despite the fact that it’s snowing today I thought it would be great to showcase a couple of our most popular Panama Hats.

The first is a wide brimmed Panama hat called the Bailey Helmsley. The Helmsley has a generous 3 1/4″ brim and a narrow leather hat band which is a little different from what you normally see on a genuine Panama hat.

Next up is a classic men’s Panama fedora by Sunday Afternoons. It is available in two colors. Previously it was only available in two sizes but they were able to start making them in an XL size for this year.

It’s not snowing and it’s actually sunny and about 50 degrees. For those of you outside of northern New England this is actually a big deal considering all the snow we still have on the ground.

Here’s the nitty gritty details. The coupon must be an active promotion from a competing hat store. Joe Schmo selling a few hats on an auction site isn’t considered a competitor. It must be a real hat store. We will monitor our competitors and when we find a new coupon code we will add it to our site so all you have to do is meet the criteria of the coupon and use their coupon code on our site. If for some reason you’ve found a coupon that we haven’t all you have to do is email us the web site or forward the email with the coupon code and we’ll verify it and give you the discount of whatever the promotion may be.
